A shopping season message from the Word of God. Be wise, friends!

We often feel bad when a loved one or friend asks us for financial assistance. They've gotten themselves in a financial bind. Their car's been repossessed. Their mortgage is in foreclosure. They've lost their job and can't pay the electric bill. Or worse yet, they want to buy something they can't afford, because it's "on sale" and now it's your problem. Right?

WRONG!

Do not co-sign for anyone one. If you can honestly afford to help them, give them the money without expectation of return. Otherwise, do not get yourself into debt for them.

As the Word says, if you have already done this, don't despair. Get out of it. Free yourself. Ask the friend or loved one to let you out of this confinement. Head the warning from the Word. It is clear. Otherwise, you be trapped like prey, waiting to be destroyed.

This, my friend, is the Word of the Lord!

Be Well, Be Blessed, Trust the Savior,
